GiftCards.com Selects First Gulf N.A. as Bank for Future Visa Gift Card Program

Pittsburgh, PA | July 26, 2004

GiftCards.com, a division of Direct Response Technologies, Inc. finalized a deal today with National Bank of Commerce (First Gulf N.A.) to solidify their banking partner for a future Visa gift card program. After a long selection process GiftCards.com chose First Gulf N.A. out of Birmingham, AL and will now focus on launching GiftCards.com as a premier gift card supplier on the Internet.

After an extensive process of securing the right partners, Jason Wolfe, President and CEO of Direct Response Technologies, is enthusiastic to continue and embark on his new venture. Securing a bank partner was a giant step in the process and Wolfe spent months reviewing his options. "We had discussions with several banks, however after meeting with the folks at First Gulf N.A. we felt they saw our vision and were best suited to work with us. We are honored to be working with them and look forward to a strong future together," replied Wolfe.
