GiftCards.com Selects Visa to Partner in Gift Card Program

Pittsburgh, PA | March 1, 2004

GiftCards.com, a division of Direct Response Technologies, Inc. announced today the selection of Visa as their partner. GiftCards.com, formerly DirectCertificates.com, currently provides merchants with gift certificates; however since the purchase of its new domain name in April 2003 has taken significant steps in moving forward with developing a gift card based site.

Jason Wolfe, President and CEO of Direct Response Technologies, Inc. stated, "We spent a considerable amount of time looking over the several associations and networks that could provide a universally accepted prepaid gift card solution. After looking at all of the supporting data, it became clear that Visa was the partner that would best fit our business model and customer base. We look forward to a long relationship."

Partnering with Visa will allow GiftCards.com to provide a Visa brand gift card online to consumers and corporations. The process is not complete, with future steps already in the works, GiftCards.com is eager to move ahead with establishing their name as a premium gift card supplier. Having Visa as a partner will only help the process move more smoothly and launch a premium product through GiftCards.com.
